Cover Letter

I thought about starting off this note with a deep, Biblical look at God’s mercy. I think this is definitely a worthwhile study but I decided, for the moment, to simply make this one comment. Without God’s mercy we wouldn’t be here. Our very existence is only possible because of His infinite mercy! What’s even more amazing is that God continues to show us His mercy and grace no matter what we’ve done…no matter where we go. The problem is that we often to take God’s mercy for granted. Sometimes it’s important for us just to STOP and REFLECT on our “God of All Mercy.”

“GOD OF ALL MERCY” is the new single from MICHAEL O’BRIEN and the debut Inspirational single from the new release WIN THIS WAR. This album is the brainchild of best-selling author Fred Stoeker (“Every Man’s Battle” series), whose new Waterbrook Press title TACTICS is now impacting Christian retail. A companion album to the book TACTICS, WIN THIS WAR contains songs that commend men to lives of sexual purity in the face of our society’s onslaught of pornography. It is fitting to mention that, even though this CD and book are aimed at men, the message of sexual purity is universal! So is God’s mercy!

Biography

Michael O'Brien is a man of many paradoxes. At 6'5" he usually stands head and shoulders above the crowd, but he couldn't be more down to earth. And although he's an incredibly gifted singer/ songwriter/ musician, his disarming charm and engaging humility prove him to be anything but a "star". Get even closer and you see that Michael's heart is his most affecting attribute - evident in his music and in his relationships with his family, his friends and his maker.

Those who are fortunate enough to catch Michael in concert have the opportunity to participate firsthand in his unique ability to create what can only be described as serious fun. His concerts range in emotion from an upbeat message of praise, to sharing of his heart about his own failures in the past...

Of his live performances, Michael says, "I love to have fun because it really tears down some walls. I see it happen all the time. But I do that for a reason -- I have a responsibility to share the gospel. If you're lost, hopefully you'll see Jesus in me, and be inspired to make a decision by the time the concert is over.
