I remember sitting in Wayburn Dean’s family room last fall as he pulled out the final mix of his new project “Through the Rain.” I had heard a few rough mixes several songs last summer so I knew I was in for a treat. As Wayburn hit play and “Through the Rain,” the project’s first track began to play, I knew my expectations would be more than met!

“THROUGH THE RAIN” is the debut single and title track from Wayburn Dean’s much anticipated new CD. On this new single, Wayburn not only picks up where he left off with the final release of his last project…he takes it up a notch! “Through the Rain” has a great groove and sound for today’s Soft AC and Inspirational radio. Wayburn brings his incredible vocals to the mix…as always. And “Through the Rain” is bright without losing the importance of the song’s message.

“As I’m on the road, it seems there are so many people going through tough times, whether its financial challenges, loss of loved ones, loss of job or relational issues, people are hurting,” comments Wayburn. “My wife, Janae, and I were moved to write a song that might encourage people to draw near to God in these uncertain and fearful times. At any given moment, we may be in the middle of a storm, headed toward a storm, just coming out of a storm. This is why we need a Savior. Only Jesus can calm this raging storm, guide us to the sunshine and get us “Through the Rain.”
